SonmargPahalgamThis itinerary is built the way we'd plan it for our own family — a slow settle into a Dal Lake houseboat, a full day at altitude in Gulmarg, and unhurried mornings in Pahalgam and Sonmarg. No back-to-back long drives, and every transfer runs with our own verified local operator.
Pickup from Srinagar airport, drive along Dal Lake, and check into your houseboat by shikara. Evening at leisure with a sunset shikara ride included.
Visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi, followed by a walk through the Old City's spice and shawl markets.
Drive to Gulmarg, take the Phase-1 gondola up to Kongdoori (Phase-2 to Apharwat at own cost, subject to weather), and return to Srinagar by evening.
Drive to Pahalgam, stopping at Betaab Valley and Aru Valley en route. Check in and rest of the day at leisure by the Lidder river.
Full-day excursion to Sonmarg with views of the Thajiwas glacier (pony/sledge ride at own cost). Return to Srinagar for the night.
